FIFA Rankings 2012

n the latest FIFA rankings for 2012, Spain still has a comfortable lead over the other top nations, but Brazil is inching their way back to the top, and are now on fifth place. Also, Argentina are back in the top ten, and deservedly so. As a result of the Netherlands defeating England in an exhibition match last week, they reclaim the second spot from Germany, who were themselves downed by France. Italy has been sliding down the table, are at number nine now, and in danger of slipping out of the top ten.

Rankings are based on a rolling 4-year period, taking into consideration all international matches, and this month's FIFA Rankings 2012 took into account 91 internationals that were played since the previous rankings.

Here is a look at the latest 2012 FIFA rankings.
